"I like the fact that they do not have a scale
in the club. The owner threw the scale out 10 years ago, it is not the
focus here. The staff is Certified and several hold a B.S. in health &
fitness. I am a veteran exerciser and have been at other clubs and

“It works if you work it!! I was looking for a program that would
incorporate nutrition and exercise and, most importantly, accountability. I
have tried several times to bring myself to a healthy weight and body fat
percentage. When I read the "Total Changes" flyer I became excited again.
Meeting with a personal trainer 3 times a week kept me on task and
motivated. I went from a fat % of 34.3% to 26.8% in just 12 weeks. How did I
do it? Working the program! I attended nutrition talks, kept a food log and
kicked up the intensity of my workouts! I never felt deprived or tired. I
ate every 3-4 hours and never felt hungry or had cravings. In fact, several
times I was told to increase the number of calories I was eating because I
wasn't eating enough. I felt satisfied. No sugar highs and lows. I took away
the term "recreational foods" from one of the food talks and it stuck with
me. Before this program I didn't realize how much "recreational food" I ate
as staples in my diet. I didn't eat a large amount but I ate them often.
Now, I view those foods as a treat. It's been 3 months since I finished the
program and I feel better than I have in years. I have been able to maintain
my weight and kept up with the nutrition. I have more energy. When I feel
like I need a boost I return to the materials I received or meet with a
trainer. I have received and continue to receive compliments about my weight
loss and frequently get asked how I am doing it. I tell them nutrition,
exercise and accountability (to myself). The best compliment I received was
from a co-worker and friend. She told me I inspired her to stay on track
when she was feeling discouraged about her weight loss efforts. She is
working hard and just recently joined the gym as the next step on her
journey. So, if you need that extra boost, I highly recommend the "Total
